Bangkok: Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited has affirmed that its oil storage and marine oil transportation operations are proceeding in compliance with legal and industry standards. The company clarified that it is not speculating on profits from its "treasury and shipping" assets, maintaining focus on operational integrity.

According to Thai News Agency, Bangchak Corporation regularly undergoes inspections by government agencies and reports information to regulatory bodies. The company's oil depots have been continuously inspected by relevant authorities, including the Department of Energy Business, the Department of Special Investigation (DSI), the Marine Department, and local energy agencies. These inspections have shown satisfactory results, with oil volumes managed according to established criteria and standards.

In response to a news report about an inspection of an oil depot in Surat Thani province, Bangchak Corporation clarified that it has no involvement with the depot in question. The company confirmed that its two oil depots in Surat Thani province, along with one leased depot, have been inspected by relevant authorities and meet all required standards. The receiving, dispensing, and inventory data are consistent with reports to regulatory agencies, and no irregularities, hoarding, or leakage were found.

The company further detailed that the receipt, disbursement, and inventory data align with the information reported to the relevant agencies, with no indications of irregularities or further suspicion. Regarding the transportation of oil by ship to the depot in Surat Thani province, Bangchak Corporation has consistently reported transportation data to the Department of Energy Business, with no irregularities detected.

Bangchak's statement emphasized that the company operates in full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and requirements, strictly adhering to principles of integrity and business standards.
