Bangchak Group Hosts Children’s Day 2026 Event with Focus on STEaM Education

Bangkok: Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited organized the Bangchak Children's Day 2026 event at the Bangchak Refinery located in Phra Khanong, Sukhumvit 64, Bangkok. The event was attended by notable executives including Mr. Bundit Hansapaiboon, Acting President of the Refinery and Marketing Business Group, Mr. Chokchai Asavarangsris, Chief Transformation and Synergy Realization Officer, Mr. Seri Anupanthanan, Senior Vice President of the Marketing Business Group, and Mrs. Kloyta Na Thalang, Senior Vice President of Sustainability and Corporate Communications. The opening ceremony was presided over by Dr. Lertlak Leelaruangsaeng, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, and Rear Admiral Nopadol Puttisarn, Director of the Military Standards Bureau, Department of Science and Technology, Ministry of Defence.

According to Thai News Agency, the event featured a vibrant atmosphere where children participated in activities designed around the concept of "STEaM Land: Exploring the Land of Happiness, Extending STEM Education with Art." This approach builds upon the traditional STEM learning model by incorporating arts, encouraging children's imagination and creativity.

The event offered a variety of engaging activities, including a spectacular science show titled MAD Science, live music performances by Sky Band, and a special showcase from the Genwit: New Generation Genius program presented by Bangchak Group. Children also enjoyed creative games that combined learning with rewards, as well as giant gift boxes, snacks, and drinks available throughout the day.

The Bangchak Children's Day event not only aimed to enhance science and art skills among the youth but also sought to instill social and environmental responsibility. This aligns with the National Children's Day motto: "Love Thailand, Care for the World." As an energy organization committed to ESG principles and youth development, Bangchak emphasizes the importance of nurturing "people" values from a young age as a foundation for sustainable national development.
