Bangkok: Bangkok and surrounding areas today face a 70% chance of thunderstorms, with heavy rainfall expected in certain locations. The minimum temperature is forecasted to be between 24-25 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature is anticipated to reach 33-35 degrees Celsius.

According to Thai News Agency, over the past 24 hours, significant rainfall has been recorded across various parts of Bangkok. The Rat Burana District experienced the highest amount of rainfall, measuring 107.5 millimeters. This was followed by Thung Khru District with 91.0 millimeters, Chom Thong District at 90.0 millimeters, and Bang Kho Laem District with 89.5 millimeters.

Despite the heavy downpour, drainage issues reported in 22 major road areas have been resolved, with all affected regions now returning to dry conditions. Additionally, air quality remains satisfactory, with PM2.5 levels between 5:00 AM and 7:00 AM ranging from 9.5 to 24.6 micrograms per cubic meter. The average PM2.5 level in Bangkok is currently 16.1 micrograms per cubic meter, which is well below the standard limit of 37.5 micrograms per cubic meter, and continues to show a decreasing trend.

Residents are advised to carry umbrellas and plan their travel routes carefully, especially in areas likely to experience heavy rain. Monitoring weather updates and flood information is essential during this period.
