Bangkok Flower Festival 2026 Blooms Along Chao Phraya River

Bangkok: It's started! The 'Bangkok Flower Festival 2026', a flower festival along the Chao Phraya River, invites flower lovers to experience the Pak Khlong Talat area from a new perspective through art, food, and workshops for 10 full days, from today until September 27, 2026.

According to Thai News Agency, Awakening, in collaboration with Yodpiman Riverwalk, has launched the Bangkok Flower Festival 2026, marking the first-ever flower festival along the Chao Phraya River. The festival, held at Yodpiman Riverwalk in the Pak Khlong Talat area, runs from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM daily, transforming thousands of square meters of land along the river into a vibrant space for flower-related activities. Visitors can enjoy a flower market, art exhibitions, workshops, and flower-inspired food and drinks.

One of the highlights of the festival is The Flower Market, located on the 2nd floor. This air-conditioned market showcases a variety of flowers including gerberas, hydrangeas, roses, carnations, lilies, and lisianthus. Attendees can create unique bouquets using special paper cones while enjoying a cheerful atmosphere enhanced by a floral motion graphic display. Additionally, the FANTA FANTASIES Bloom Cafe pop-up offers two new drinks and exclusive collaboration menus with SOURI.

The festival also features artworks inspired by flowers, with contributions from artists like Parita Thanyasirin, TO SMiLE, The Tweedles, and ALT+R. A notable piece is Driven to Bloom by Thonburi Panich, blending floral themes with Mercedes-Benz cars. Visitors can also engage with a large-format canvas artwork from Artstractions, adding their own colors to create a vibrant flower garden.

Attendees can shop for crafts and participate in flower-themed workshops, such as brewing Thai flower and herbal teas or extracting floral scents to make flower liquor. These workshops, presented by brands like Ouy An Osoth and Onson, will rotate throughout the festival.

For those interested in culinary experiences, the River Cafe and Market offers floral-inspired food, desserts, and beverages. The FANTA FANTASIES booth provides free samples of drinks like Lavender Berry Bliss and Floral Bloom Berry. Additionally, there are limited-time fine dining experiences from CHIM by Siam Wisdom and Maison Dunand on select dates.
