Bangkok: The first half-day of registration for Bangkok gubernatorial candidates went smoothly as candidates flocked to Bangkok City Hall in Din Daeng this morning to register and draw their campaign ballot numbers.

According to Thai News Agency, thirteen candidates successfully registered before 8:30 AM. However, Dr. Mallika Boonmeetrakul Mahasuk missed the deadline by a fraction of a second after giving an interview to the media, which resulted in her losing eligibility to draw her campaign ballot number.
