Bangkok: Bhumjaithai Party has announced the formation of two smaller political entities, "Pheu Chart Thai" and "Miti Mai," in a strategic move to bolster support for Anutin Charnvirakul's bid for the Prime Minister's position. Ms. Nan Boonthida Somchai, spokesperson for the Bhumjaithai Party, and Mr. Chaiyanok Chidchob, the party's secretary-general, outlined the establishment of the Phuea Chat Thai Party and the Miti Mai Party. This development is aimed at demonstrating a unified front in backing Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul once the official election results are announced and parliament is in session.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Preecha Khaikaew, leader of the New Dimension Party, and Mr. Pongthawat Techadejruangkul, leader of the Thai Nation Party, were also present during the press conference. Mr. Preecha expressed his and his party's willingness to support Mr. Anutin's prime ministerial aspirations. Additionally, Mr. Pongthawat, leader of the Pheu Chart Thai Party, conveyed gratitude towards the Bhumjaithai Party for inviting them to join in forming the government, reaffirming their unconditional support for Mr. Anutin.
Representatives from other political entities, including Mr. Pichet Sathirachaval, leader of the New Vision Party, were also in attendance at the press conference, further indicating a collaborative effort among the parties involved.
