Bhumjaithai Party MPs Register Despite Public Holiday

Bangkok: Three MPs from the Bhumjaithai Party reported to Parliament on the third day of registration, even though today is a public holiday.

According to Thai News Agency, reporters covered the atmosphere of the third day of registration for constituency MPs. Despite it being a public holiday, the Secretariat of the House of Representatives remained open for MPs to register. This morning, three MPs from the Bhumjaithai Party - Mr. Rungroj Thongsri (Buriram Constituency 9), Mr. Pornchai Srisuriyanyothin (Buriram Constituency 7), and Mr. Lamlert Puapattanachot (Surin Constituency 6) - arrived to register after receiving their certification from the Election Commission.

This brings the total number of MPs who have registered to 99 out of 396, amidst a large gathering of journalists waiting to cover the news.
