According to Thai News Agency, there were claims that Newin Chidchob, the leader of the Bhumjaithai Party, had planned a meeting with Pheu Thai Party leaders at a Bangkok hotel to discuss government formation and the allocation of ministerial roles. However, high-ranking officials within the Bhumjaithai Party have clarified that these reports are untrue. Mr. Newin is in Buriram province, preparing for a scheduled football match to be held tomorrow.
