Bangkok: The Bangkok Mass Transit Authority (BMTA) has provided travel recommendations for those planning to attend the royal bathing ceremony and pay respects to Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendira Debyavadi, Krom Luang Rajasarinisiripatchara Mahavajrarajathida. Attendees can use BMTA bus services to reach the venues.
According to Thai News Agency, the royal portrait at the Sahathai Samakhom Pavilion in the Grand Palace will be available for public respects on Saturday, June 13, 2026, from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM, and on Sunday, June 14, 2026, from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM. The Phiman Rattaya Throne Hall will open for respects to the royal remains starting Saturday, June 27, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM. A complimentary shuttle bus service on six routes is available to facilitate public commuting to Sanam Luang.
The shuttle bus routes include M1 from Tha Phra Station, M2 from Sanam Chai Station, M7 from Victory Monument (Phaya Thai side), M8 from Bangkok Central Station (Aphiwat Station), M9 from the Southern Bus Terminal (New), and M16 from Thewaphirom Gate, all heading to Sanam Luang with varying start and end times.
Additionally, BMTA operates 18 bus routes passing through Sanam Luang with service hours from 5:00 AM to 10:00 PM. These routes include connections from various terminals and stations across the city, offering accessible options for public travel.
