A Thai Airways International flight bound for Phuket from Stockholm, Sweden, on Thursday night was aborted and all passengers on board were quickly evacuated after it was reported that there was a bomb on board.
Flight TG 963 which was scheduled to leave Stockholm at 9.33 pm with 267 passengers and 19 crew members and pilots was ordered to be parked on a spot of the runway as officials concerned unloaded all the luggage for searches while another team of officials swept the plane for the reported bomb.
While the lengthy searches were under way, all the passengers were bused to hotels for a rest.
No bomb was found after several hours of searches. There was no report about when the flight would be able to resume.
