Boom Panadda Announces Divorce Amidst Legal and Personal Turmoil

Bangkok:Actress and TV host Boom Panadda has publicly announced her divorce from her husband, revealing a separation that began in 2024.

According to Thai News Agency, the announcement came after Boom received information about child support from their housekeeper. She discussed a land issue where her husband requested 2 million baht for investment. Boom expressed uncertainty about whether this money was used to purchase illegal land, given their strained relationship at the time.

Boom Panadda, alongside lawyer Tui, addressed the media concerning Got Athip, accused of illegally using Royal Thai Army land in Nakhon Nayok Province to develop a resort and trail running track. Boom disclosed that she was unaware of this land until recently and presented a sales contract dated October 5, 2024, valued at 2.5 million baht. She mentioned her husband had previously requested 3 million baht for an unspecified business venture.

During the same period, Boom discovered her husband's affair with the housekeeper's 17-year-old daughter, leading to further marital discord. Conversations with her husband predominantly revolved around financial matters, with him frequently requesting money without clarifying its purpose. Additionally, Boom noted a disappearance of over 7 million baht from their safe, exacerbating their issues.

Boom's social media portrayal as a strong yet unsuccessful figure in love influenced her decision to maintain family unity by assuming dual parental roles for her children. In a recent interview, she announced plans to formalize her divorce at the Bang Phlat District Office, aiming to provide a creditor-free environment for her children. She also mentioned her refusal to lend her husband 10 million baht for investment.

Boom expressed profound sadness over her husband's infidelity, particularly feeling betrayed by a third woman whom she regarded as a daughter. Following the press conference, Boom's co-hosts from the "Clear Chat Chat" program offered their support as she announced a one-month break from the show.

Regarding the land issue, Boom expressed her willingness to cooperate with any agency seeking evidence or information to resolve the matter.
