The Urban Khon, from Wayuphat Productions, helmed and directed by Boy-Jetnipat Sasingh, has generated buzz since its launch. It aims to modernize traditional Thai Khon (masked dance-drama), making it more accessible and relatable to a younger generation. According to Thai News Agency, Tukkie, with her impressive credentials, graduated in performing arts from Mahasarakham University. In particular, for her role as a dance teacher in the drama "Jong Daeng," she will wholeheartedly share her experience and knowledge. Recently, Vayupat Productions brought together both new and veteran actors for a costume and makeup fitting at the Navasorn Onpa Right Beyond building. The atmosphere was lively and friendly, reflecting the team's dedication to creating a high-quality production that blends Thai art and culture with a new form of entertainment.
Jongdaeng's main goal is to preserve, conserve, and present Thai Khon (masked dance-drama) from a modern perspective.
