Sa kaeo: The Burapha Task Force, in collaboration with the Department of Forestry and the Department of Land, is actively advancing the surveying and verification of land ownership rights for villagers in Nong Chan Village, covering an area of over 70 rai. The task force is also progressing with the construction of bomb shelters, with 38 shelters already completed.
According to Thai News Agency, the 1st Army Area Command, through the Eastern Command, has designated Task Force 12 to provide search and security teams. These teams are facilitating the entry of Forestry Department and land surveyors to assess three plots of land, totaling 70 rai, which belong to local residents. This area, situated along Sriphen Road in Nong Chan Village, Khok Sung District, is a border region that requires close security monitoring. The land survey and coordinate mapping have been completed, and the process of verifying land rights, confirming boundaries, and issuing legal land titles to the residents is currently underway.
Furthermore, the Eastern Command is continuing its efforts to construct civilian bomb shelters in the border area of Sa Kaeo Province. Funding from the Hathaitip Fund (Phase 1) and the Royal Thai Army has been utilized to complete the construction of 38 shelters. Construction for Phase 2 is underway, with plans to build over 100 additional shelters to ensure public safety during emergency situations.
The 1st Army Area Command continues to deploy troops and conduct rigorous patrols along the border. Simultaneously, they are creating safe zones for people in these areas, ensuring they have legal land for livelihoods. This allows residents to earn a living and lead their daily lives safely under the full protection and capability of the Burapha Task Force and all relevant government agencies.
