Bangkok:Bus services have returned to normal on all routes following the receding of floodwaters that had previously caused disruptions. According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Atthawit Rakchamroon, Managing Director of Transport Company Limited (BKS), announced that the flood situation has improved, with water levels dropping in many affected areas. This has allowed bus operators, including those providing van and minibus services, to resume normal operations after some routes faced temporary suspensions due to flooding and road closures. Passenger travel remains consistent, with yesterday's services accommodating 75,532 passengers across 4,897 trips utilizing both the company's and partner services. Today, the number of passengers is expected to rise to approximately 79,309, with an estimated 5,142 trips. The company is committed to closely monitoring the flood situation as some areas continue to experience rainfall and flooding. This ongoing assessment is aimed at ensuring that service routes remain safe and convenient for public transport users.
