Bangkok: Mr. Siripong Angkasakulkiat, spokesman for the Prime Minister’s Office, revealed that the Cabinet meeting approved the proposal from the Office of the Prime Minister to appoint five individuals to political positions.

According to Thai News Agency, the approved appointments include Mr. Sompop Phongsawang as Advisor to the Deputy Prime Minister, Mr. Ekniti Nitithanpraphat. Ms. Airin Phanrit and Ms. Lalida Periswiwatana have been appointed as Deputy Spokespersons of the Prime Minister’s Office. Additionally, Mr. Chamlong Chuayrot and Police Major General Suwicha Yanakitkul have been appointed to positions within the Office of the Prime Minister.
