Bangkok: The cabinet held a special meeting and approved the appointment of four political appointees to serve in Prime Minister Anutin's second term government.
According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Ratchada Thanadirek, Spokesperson for the Prime Minister's Office, revealed that the Cabinet approved the appointment of four political officials, as proposed by the Prime Minister's Secretariat. This decision was made during a special meeting and will take effect from April 6, 2026.
The appointees include Mr. Wan Muhammad Nor Matha, who will hold the position of Advisor to the Prime Minister. Police General Permpoon Chidchob has been appointed as an Advisor to the Prime Minister, alongside Mr. Atthaphol Rerkpiboon who will also serve in the same capacity. Additionally, Ms. Rachada Thanadirek will continue to serve as the Spokesperson for the Prime Minister's Office.
