CCTV Footage Key to Tracking Gunman in M6 Motorway Shooting

Bangkok: CCTV footage is being used to track down the gunman who killed a contractor on an M6 rifle. CCTV and dashcam footage reveals the moment a gunman fatally shot a young man from a well-known construction company on the M6 motorway. Police are in pursuit.

According to Thai News Agency, authorities have been investigating the death of Mr. Supakorn, 30, a foreman from a well-known construction company. He was shot dead with a shotgun on the side of Motorway No. 6, kilometer 172, between Bung Khilek and Non Kha subdistricts, Sung Noen district, Nakhon Ratchasima province. The incident occurred on the northbound lane towards Nakhon Ratchasima city. A pickup truck with Bangkok license plates and a sticker for an interior and exterior building design and decoration company was found nearby.

Crucial evidence has emerged in the form of video footage from a dashcam of a good Samaritan driving along the road at the time of the incident, as well as aerial CCTV footage. The footage shows a suspicious white Mitsubishi Pajero, with an unknown license plate, aggressively chasing the victim's vehicle. A red sedan was seen overtaking the victim's car and attempting to brake suddenly to force a stop.

A concerned citizen driving by later observed three cars parked on the roadside, with some kind of negotiation taking place. Subsequently, Mr. Supakorn's body was discovered shot dead behind his own car. Police from the Suang Neun Police Station, along with investigators from Provincial Police Region 3 and Nakhon Ratchasima Provincial Police, have gathered evidence and are tracking the two suspicious vehicles to expedite the investigation. They have already interviewed seven witnesses and are preparing to issue summonses to those involved in the case.
