Bangkok: Celebrities and public figures have united to amplify the discourse on animal welfare, marking the 75th anniversary of World Animal Protection with the “Don’t Forget Them” campaign. The campaign symbolizes a collective effort to advocate for animals who cannot voice their own needs, emphasizing the importance of recognizing and valuing animal life.
According to Thai News Agency, World Animal Protection expressed gratitude towards the artists and celebrities who have joined this significant mission. Participants donned T-shirts emblazoned with the campaign’s slogan, “Don’t Forget Them,” serving as a powerful gesture to encourage society to acknowledge and respect animals. Spearheading the initiative is Maria Poonlertlarp, the organization’s ambassador in Thailand. She is joined by a diverse group of personalities from various sectors including Kim-Thitisan Goodburn, the reigning Mister International 2023, and host and actor Namcha-Chiranat Yusanont.
The campaign has also attracted support from a wide range of celebrities, such as Kru Uan Maneenuch Semsut, Tai-Penpak Sirikul, Tak-Mayura Savetsila, Pancake-Khemanit, and Miki-Ingkamol Jamikorn. Other notable figures include Jakjaan-Akkhamsiri Suwansuk, Tao-Setthaphong Phiangpho, Sean-Chuanl Kaisiri, designer of the brand POEM, Noo Dee Wanisa Race, Maxine Inthiporn Taemsukhin, Sammy Cowell, Tong-Chaiwat Paisansiri, and Baitong-Jarirat Petchsom, Miss Earth Thailand 2021.
Moreover, the campaign has drawn attention from green influencers such as Film from the Smile Bear page, Pim from the Green Civil page, and Wan from the Vegan Calendar page, who are all contributing to the growing momentum of this compassionate movement.
