Chaiwut and Jetsada Engage Siam Youth on BTS Trip to Address Key Concerns

Bangkok: Chaiwut and Professor Jetsada, prime ministerial candidates from the Rak Chart Party, took a novel approach to their campaign by riding the BTS Skytrain to Siam Square, aiming to engage directly with the younger generation. This shift from their traditional campaigning methods allowed them to focus on listening to public concerns and promoting their slogan "Patriotic Blood, Love the Nation, Number 35."

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Chaiwut Thanakamanusorn, leader of the Rak Chart Party, along with Mr. Jetsada Tonawanik, the party's prime minister candidate, Mr. Thitiphan Keyanon, the party's secretary-general, and other Rak Chart Party candidates, chose this method to better understand the needs and concerns of citizens. The dialogue with young people revealed a strong interest in mental health issues, the high cost of living, and the need for affordable public transportation solutions.

Additionally, Nathee Pimsarn, a Paralympic swimmer for Thailand, brought attention to the accessibility challenges faced by people with disabilities, emphasizing the need for consistently smooth ramps across all areas. Thawilap Sudcharoen, another Paralympic swimmer, called on the government to enhance job market support for people with disabilities and address the slow disbursement of athlete support funds.

The campaign atmosphere was energetic, with citizens and young people actively engaging in conversations and exchanging ideas. Some attendees even requested to create cover dance content with P' Oh Chaiwut and the Rakchart Party's candidates, commending the party for its engaging approach and diverse representation. The party's focus on dialogue and understanding public opinion marked a departure from traditional political strategies of leaflet distribution and sign-holding.
