Chaiyaphum: Wat Phra That Chaiyaphum organized the “Meal of Unity” activity to honor His Majesty the King. The event, led by the Chaiyaphum Community Development Office, saw the participation of the Khok Nong Na Community Development Network in commemorating His Majesty’s birthday on July 28, 2025.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Anan Nakniyom, Governor of Chaiyaphum Province, along with Mr. Domthong Direksin, the Development Officer of Chaiyaphum Province, and other key figures from the Community Development Office, gathered at Wat Phra That Chaiyaphum in Kao Ya Dee Subdistrict. The event included 200 leaders from the NLA, women’s organizations, and volunteers who participated in ‘Planting Rice, Planting Value, Offering to the King of the Land’. This initiative was held at a designated project area, which has been established as a prototype for Khok Nong Na, transforming it into a demonstration rice field that adheres to ‘civilized agriculture’ principles.

The project area at Wat Phra That Chaiyaphum was designed following the ‘social geography’ principle, tailored for the community’s context. It features a water source for agricultural purposes and plans for a learning center building to facilitate sustainable development education for the public.

Support for this project came from Phra Ratcha Maha Chetiyaphiban (Torsak Suntharawat), who is involved in the temple’s development into a model of ‘Khok Nong Na Arayakaset’. The aim is to create an agricultural tourism destination and learning center for the province. This activity reflects a strong sense of love, loyalty, and volunteerism to honor the King, aligning with the philosophy of the sufficiency economy to promote community stability, prosperity, and sustainability.

During the event, Mr. Domthong Direksin emphasized the operations of the Chaiyaphum Provincial Community Development Khok Nong Na Network, highlighting the collective effort towards community development.
