According to Thai News Agency, the Thai women's esports team was compelled to withdraw from the 33rd SEA Games after it was discovered that a player had violated the rules by using an unauthorized substitute program. "Kong," known as Cheerio in the esports community, has come forward on his personal TikTok account, acknowledging his role as the substitute player for Tokyogurl. In his message, he stated, "I admit that I did it, as reported in the news. I have had time to reflect and feel remorse for my actions, and I sincerely apologize to the public." Cheerio extended his apologies to everyone impacted by the situation.
