“Cherin”, Nichkhun’s sister, files a complaint against her ex-husband for physical assault and threats.

Bangkok, Lawyer Kaew took Chereen, Nichkhun's younger sister, to file a complaint against her ex-husband after she was physically assaulted 4 times and threatened. At 10:00 a.m., Lawyer Kaew Dr. Montchai Jongkrairatanakul, Vice Chairman of the Law Dissemination Committee of the Lawyers Council, brought Ms. Natcharee Horvejkul or Chereen, a famous artist and actress, younger sister of Nichkhun Horvejkul, to Thonglor Police Station to file a complaint against her ex-husband after she was physically assaulted, threatened, and harassed all along. Chereen revealed that she was physically abused for the first time after giving birth to her first child. The man often drank alcohol and every time he was drunk, he would get angry and physically abuse her, slapping, beating, and dragging her a total of 4 times. The first time was in May 2022, the second time in July 2022, the third time in April 2023, and the fourth time in September 2023. The last time was the worst because she was slapped in the face almost 10 tim es, causing wounds on her lips and bruises all over her body. After her ex-husband sobered up, he came to apologize and she forgave him every time because she wanted the family to be complete. But in the end, she couldn't take it anymore and they broke up. But after they separated, her ex-husband continued to follow her, threaten, and harass her all the time. He knew every move she made, such as what time she would get off work and when she would get home. He would wait for her, which made her feel suspicious and worried that her life and property would not be safe. One time, his ex-husband followed her home, which made her so scared that she had to run barefoot out the back of the house. When asked if her ex-husband would talk to her if he wanted to negotiate, Chereen said she would not talk about anything and would let her lawyer handle everything. However, she wanted her ex-husband to stop harassing her and stop bothering her completely. She did not want money or anything else. Lawyer Kaew revealed that the problem was a family problem. Before deciding to report the incident, the family had already discussed it after becoming Chereen's lawyer. There was evidence of Chereen's physical assault photos and a Line chat that appeared to send threatening messages. Initially, she wanted the investigator to press 2 charges: and a violation of the Domestic Violence Act and assault. Chereen herself tearfully gave an interview saying that when they first broke up, she still let her ex-husband come see her child sometimes because she wanted her child to spend time with his father. But every time her ex-husband came to see her child, she was secretly worried that he would be angry or mad about something else, which turned into suspicion. After this, she wanted her ex-husband to stop bothering her and to get out of her life. Pol. Col. Pansa Amarapitak, Superintendent of Thonglor Police Station, revealed that after the interrogation is complete, the victim will be sent for a physical examination at the Police General Hosp ital to gather the doctor's opinion to support the case file. The investigator will invite the accused to mediate with the victim again. If they cannot reach an agreement, charges will be filed and the victim will be sent to court. Chereen had previously quietly announced the good news of marrying her non-celebrity boyfriend on July 1, 2021, and announced the good news of being pregnant with her first child on August 2, 2021, and lived together for quite some time before coming out with shocking news again in May 2024 that she had already broken up with her ex-husband.
