Government House, Oct 22 – “Chulaphan” confirms that the 10,000 baht economic stimulus money for vulnerable groups has been in accordance with all objectives. 99.5% have been paid, leaving 65,000 people. Another 2 rounds will be collected. Asking the public to hurry and connect their PromptPay before Dec 21.

Mr. Chulaphan Amornvivat, Deputy Minister of Finance, explained about the transfer of 10,000 baht in economic stimulus money to vulnerable groups in the second round that yesterday (October 21), money was transferred to 2 groups: 371,591 state welfare cardholders, 311,751 of whom have been successfully transferred; and 43,317 remaining disabled persons, 38,265 of whom have been successfully transferred. There are still about 65,000 remaining unsuccessful transfers. 90 percent of this group have problems with PromptPay linking. Therefore, we would like to inform the public to hurry up and do so because there will be another 2 transfers on November 21 and December 21, the final round. If the transfer is no
t completed before December 21, it will be considered a waiver of rights and the money will be returned to the treasury.

Regarding past operations, Mr. Chulaphan stated that both the first round and the remaining round of 14.5 million people have been completed by 99.5 percent, which is considered a satisfactory number. Or the economic stimulus by adding 10,000 baht to the vulnerable groups has reached their hands in full.

When asked if the money from the estimate can really stimulate the economy, Mr. Chulaphan stated that the figures are not out yet. First, we have to look at the overall economic situation. It can be seen that in the past quarter, there were many events, including floods and other problems, which were able to support the economic situation, keeping the GDP figure at 2.7, with the stimulating mechanism. As for the exact figures, we will have to wait until the end of the year again. And from the past process, from the evaluation with the opinion survey results, when the money was added, it w
