Bangkok: Chusak Sirinin, Minister to the Prime Minister’s Office, emphasized the importance of unity and collective effort at the 65th anniversary ceremony of the Office of the Permanent Secretary to the Prime Minister. The event, which brought together former and current officials, aimed to reinforce the organization’s role in public administration for the benefit of the people.
According to Thai News Agency, the ceremony was chaired by Mr. Chusak Sirinin and attended by Mrs. Yupha Thaweewattanakitbaworn, the Permanent Secretary to the Prime Minister, along with other key figures and civil servants. The anniversary celebration featured various traditional activities such as a Buddhist prayer ceremony, a Buddha image bathing ceremony, and a water pouring ceremony to bestow blessings. Additionally, the event marked the inauguration of the Office of the Permanent Secretary to the Prime Minister’s Think Tank.
The ceremony also included the presentation of certificates of honor to 28 supportive agencies and welfare grants to outstanding civil servants for the year 2024. Moreover, 13 personnel were recognized with certificates for being ‘Good People, Capable People, Brave People.’ Mr. Chusak expressed gratitude to all who have continuously supported the Office’s endeavors and congratulated the award recipients.
Mr. Chusak encouraged all members and affiliated organizations to foster love, unity, and a commitment to the organization’s mission. He urged them to work together to achieve sustainable prosperity and maintain the Office’s status as a leading entity in public administration.
The celebration also incorporated traditional Songkran Festival rituals, including a ceremony to bathe the Buddha image and pour water for blessings, involving both former and current executives of the Office.
