Bangkok: Coco Gauff, the world number 3 American tennis player, has outlined her ambitions for the year 2026, aiming to advance further in Grand Slam tournaments and move closer to achieving the world number 1 ranking. Gauff emphasized the importance of maintaining consistent performance throughout the year as she works towards her goals. According to Thai News Agency, Gauff concluded the year as the world number 3 for the third consecutive year. Previously, she had reached the number 2 position but could not surpass Aryna Sabalenka of Belarus, the reigning world number 1. Subsequently, Iga Swiatek of Poland surpassed Gauff to secure the number 2 spot.
