Constitutional Court President signs orders to control areas on the day of ruling on 2 major cases

Mr. Nakarin Mektrairat, President of the Constitutional Court, signed the announcement of the Constitutional Court on the area or area designated for the Constitutional Court and the Office of the Constitutional Court to be used as a place of work, maintain security and maintain peace and order. The announcement stated that the Constitutional Court has scheduled two oral consultations, voting and readings of verdicts: on Wednesday, August 7, there will be a meeting and reading of the verdict in the case in which the Election Commission submitted a request for the court to dissolve the Move Forward Party; and on Wednesday, August 14, there will be a meeting and reading of the verdict in t he case in which the Senate President submitted a request for the court to rule whether the status of Mr. Settha Thavisin and Mr. Pichit Chuenban, ministers attached to the Prime Minister's Office, has ended according to the constitution, Section 170, paragraph one (4), and Section 160 (4) and (5) frameworks. In order for the Constitutional Court's consideration process to proceed smoothly, it has been announced that the area of ??the Government Complex Chalermprakiat, Ratchaburi Direkrit Building, will be the outer area for maintaining security and peace and order in the courthouse. Persons and vehicles permitted to enter the area must pass inspection by officials of the agency responsible for maintaining security and peace and order. The area within the Constitutional Court office and the area designated by the Constitutional Court shall be a controlled area. No one shall enter the controlled area except those who have been granted permission to perform duties or to contact the government, and must pass i nspection of persons and items brought in according to the methods of the agency officials who are responsible for maintaining security and peace and order. This announcement is effective on Wednesday, August 7 and 14, from 00.01 to 23.59 for the reading of the verdict, with the President of the Constitutional Court acting in accordance with this announcement.
