Court Grants Bail to Suea Dusit and Accomplices in Brutal Assault Case

Nonthaburi: The court has granted bail to "Suea Dusit" and his accomplices, who were involved in a brutal assault on a 53-year-old man, resulting in serious injuries. Each suspect was required to post 120,000 baht in collateral for their temporary release pending trial.

According to Thai News Agency, police from Rattanathibet Police Station escorted "Suea Dusit" and two accomplices to reenact the crime scene as part of their confession. The event occurred at a restaurant near Sanam Bin Nam, where the 53-year-old victim was assaulted. The reenactment was part of the police's efforts to gather further details following their confession.

The incident, involving Samrit, known as "Suea Dusit," a prominent street boxing figure, resulted from an alleged provocation where the victim reportedly grabbed Dusit's girlfriend's buttocks. Despite this claim, the police conducted a thorough investigation, including questioning all three suspects for over two hours before their arraignment at Nonthaburi Provincial Court.

During the crime scene reenactment, reporters were unable to elicit further details from the suspects, as they refrained from commenting. Suea Dusit expressed remorse, stating he did not flee and surrendered himself willingly. He issued a public apology, acknowledging his actions and expressing his willingness to accept severe consequences if his claims were proven false.

The incident has had a profound impact on Dusit's personal life, resulting in the end of his marriage. He expressed his intent to take full responsibility for his actions and stated his regret over the incident's impact on his family.

The court's decision to grant bail came after a day of intense legal proceedings. At 5:00 PM, the Nonthaburi Provincial Court released Suea Dusit and his accomplices on bail, each posting 120,000 baht in cash, under conditions set by the court.

Meanwhile, the victim's daughter, Ms. Jida, revealed that her father's condition has slightly improved, though he remains in the ICU under close medical supervision. She expressed her dissatisfaction with the initial police response, which prompted her to seek justice through social media. Her actions, she believes, played a crucial role in advancing the case.

The investigation continues as authorities seek to uncover further details surrounding the assault and ensure justice is served.
