According to Thai News Agency, this morning at the Criminal Court on Ratchadaphisek Road, the court delivered the verdict in the high-profile case of "Am Cyanide," who allegedly poisoned Police Lieutenant Colonel Nipa Saenchon, also known as "Inspector Pu," with cyanide, resulting in her death. Correctional officers brought in Ms. Sararat, or "Am Cyanide," the suspect accused of poisoning Police Lieutenant Colonel Nipa Saenchon with cyanide in food and drinks. The incident occurred in Phra Pathom Chedi Subdistrict, Mueang District, Nakhon Pathom Province on April 1, 2023.
During the investigation, Am Cyanide denied the charges, leading to the submission of the case file to the court for consideration. Recently, the court sentenced Am Cyanide to death, but her sentence was reduced to life imprisonment due to her helpful testimony. The court adjudged the case as one of premeditated murder in the death of Police Lieutenant Colonel Pu.
