Covid Outbreak Post-Songkran Festival: Mild Symptoms Reported

Bangkok: Dr. Manoon Leechawengwong, a respiratory specialist at Vichaiyut Hospital, shared insights on the recent increase in COVID-19 cases following the Songkran Festival.

According to Thai News Agency, Dr. Leechawengwong noted that while there has been an uptick in COVID-19 patients, the symptoms observed are notably milder compared to previous waves. He emphasized that there is no need for excessive concern as the current symptoms are not as severe as those experienced with the flu. Dr. Leechawengwong also recommended that individuals should consider getting a flu vaccine annually to bolster their health defenses.
