Coway Co. on Friday reported its second-quarter net income of 154.2 billion won (US$113.1 million), up 43.9 percent from a year earlier. Operating income for the April-June period was 211.2 billion won, up 8.8 percent from a year ago, the company said in a regulatory filing. Sales rose 7.6 percent to 1.08 trillion won.
