Crime Suppression Police Crack Down on Fake High-Society Impostor

Bangkok: Crime Suppression Police have intensified their investigation into a man posing as a member of high society, issuing an arrest warrant and searching his residence, where they discovered incriminating pictures and a white suit adorned with various symbols.

According to Thai News Agency, investigators from the Crime Suppression Division have detained Mr. Thanathep, also known as Hi-So Hot, in the Thonburi Special Prison. This action follows allegations made by Ms. Kanyakan, a renowned actress, who was deceived by Mr. Thanathep. He allegedly swindled her assets, flaunted a luxurious lifestyle, and created fake LINE accounts of well-known individuals. Furthermore, he reportedly donned civil servant uniforms and forged documents to bolster his credibility, even marrying Ms. Kanyakan despite already having a family.

Authorities have secured a search warrant from the Criminal Court to further investigate Mr. Thanathep’s residence for additional evidence. During the search, they uncovered a framed photograph, approximately 30 inches in size, depicting Mr. Thanathep in a white outfit decorated with various symbols. This and other pieces of evidence are being examined to support the ongoing prosecution.

Legal proceedings are underway to gather further evidence, and if any additional wrongdoing is discovered, Mr. Thanathep, or Hi-So Hot, will face legal action to the fullest extent of the law.
