Bangkok: The Commissioner of the Crime Suppression Division (CSD) chaired a meeting of the team investigating the local government exam cheating case. This development follows a search operation at a printing press in Samut Prakan province, where answer sheets were found. Authorities anticipate that more clarity will be obtained within the next 7-10 days.
According to Thai News Agency, Pol. Lt. Gen. Nattasak Chaowanasai, Commander of the Central Investigation Bureau, led the meeting, which was convened after the Ministry of Interior filed a complaint regarding the cheating case. The investigation is currently focused on gathering evidence to identify those involved and determine the charges they may face.
The investigation aims to uncover the entire network associated with the cheating scheme by primarily examining behavioral aspects. Initial statements collected during the search will undergo further scrutiny. Authorities have yet to file charges against Mr. Pichit, the owner of the company where documents related to the cheating were discovered.
