Cyanide found in luggage belonging to one of the six deceased

Pol. Lt. Col. Noppasin, deputy commander of the Metropolitan Police Bureau, revealed that cyanide was found in the luggage of one of the six people and is currently being investigated. From the case of the deaths of 6 Vietnamese and American tourists who were found dead in a famous hotel room in the Ratchaprasong area, which was later found that all of them died from cyanide poisoning, the police believe that some of the deceased in the group were the ones who poisoned them themselves. The latest, Pol. Maj. Gen. Noppasin Poolsawat, deputy commissioner of the Metropolitan Police Bureau, revealed that initially, investigators have already questioned 19 witnesses, all of whom have provided useful and consistent information. The investigation team is currently collecting additional evidence. The results of the examination by the Forensic Science Division of the Royal Thai Police, including DNA, fingerprints, drugs, and toxic substances from all the evidence, are not yet complete. The autopsy report is also not complete. We are also waiting for the background information of the 6 people from the embassy to be used. However, the progress is more than 80% complete. It is expected that soon we will be able to present information to clarify all the facts to the media and the public. However, from the examination of the toxic substances in the luggage of the 6 deceased, it was found that 1 of the 6 bags of the deceased was contaminated with 'cyanide'. Therefore, a detailed examination of the bag was conducted to determine the amount of 'cyanide' found and in what form it was imported or in what packaging. In addition, the relatives of the bodies of the 6 deceased have contacted the Vietnamese and American embassies in Thailand to contact them to receive the bodies back to perform religious ceremonies in their own countries, which has already been completed. -420-Thai News Agency Source: Thai News Agency
