Two men shot a delivery driver at his home, seriously injuring him, before fleeing in their vehicle. Police are reviewing CCTV footage to trace their escape route and apprehend the perpetrators.

According to Thai News Agency, late last night, police from Khlong Luang Police Station, forensic officers, and volunteers from the Ruam Katanyu Foundation inspected the front of a house at the entrance of Soi Suksomboon, Moo 9, Khlong Song Subdistrict, Khlong Luang District, Pathum Thani Province. They found a pool of blood near the side entrance of the house and three spent 9mm bullet casings. The injured person, identified as Mr. Anurak or Ameen, 24, sustained serious injuries from gunshot wounds to the abdomen, left shoulder, and left leg, totaling three shots. He had been taken to the hospital for treatment.

The injured man's sister stated during questioning that her brother worked as a delivery driver. She did not know the details of any prior conflicts he had with anyone. The injured man's girlfriend said that before the incident, Mr. James and Mr. Tae called to invite her boyfriend to Nong Khai province, but she didn't know what the purpose was. They then had an argument over the phone. Shortly after, Mr. James and Mr. Tae arrived in a white SUV and parked in front of their house. When she and her boyfriend came out, Mr. Tae got out of the car alone on the rear left side and told her boyfriend to get in. When he refused, an argument ensued. Mr. Tae tried to force her boyfriend into the car, but he backed away into the house. Mr. Tae then pulled out a gun and fired 3-4 shots at her boyfriend before getting back into the car and driving away.

Police are urgently reviewing CCTV footage and questioning witnesses to determine the motive. Initially, it is believed that the injured person and the two perpetrators were friends. The motive for the incident, including the nature of the conflict and what the perpetrators did when they invited the injured person to Nong Khai province, is still unclear.
