Delivery Rider Saves 4-Year-Old Girl Wandering Alone on Busy Road

Sai noi: The family didn't know the 4-year-old was crossing the road, luckily a delivery rider helped in time. A heart-stopping moment unfolded when an uncle fell asleep, leaving his 4-year-old nephew crying and walking across the street alone through an open door. Fortunately, a delivery rider arrived in time to help.

According to Thai News Agency, the video clip, taken at 9:37 PM last night, shows 4-year-old girl, Kingkaew, crossing the road crying while cars were speeding past. The first car involved was driven by a good Samaritan who posted the dashcam footage on a Facebook page, and the second motorcycle belonged to a married couple who were delivering Kingkaew to her parents at a Northeastern Thai restaurant near where she was found.

At 11:11 PM, footage captured the family arriving on two motorcycles and parking in front of the rented room. The girl got off the motorcycles and walked into the room to rest.

The incident was reported by a Facebook user, "Keng Ma Lao," who posted a video searching for a young girl, approximately 4-5 years old, wearing a white dress and standing by the roadside on the Ban Kluay-Sai Noi road. A good Samaritan on a motorcycle stopped to talk to her, and later, another good Samaritan in a car stopped and shone their headlights to shield her and prevent an accident.

Reporters went to the Sai Noi community in Sai Noi District, Nonthaburi Province, to inquire about the progress of the incident. They met Ms. Loy, 27, the mother of the missing girl, Gingkaew. The mother recounted that she had no idea her daughter was missing. She only knew that her daughter had gone shopping and then someone told her that her daughter had been abducted. She is normally from Ubon Ratchathani and has been living in the apartment for less than a month as a sales employee.

The day before the incident, I left my daughter with her uncle while her mother went out to sell goods. The uncle told me he fell asleep in the room, which wasn't locked, and woke up to find his granddaughter missing. Around 9 PM, a delivery rider brought my daughter back. I want to thank everyone who helped my daughter.

The concerned citizen also emphasized that he wanted to advise all mothers with children to keep a close eye on their children and lock the doors and windows securely.
