Hat yai: The Department of Business Development is set to invigorate the local economy in Hat Yai by launching its 4th Franchise for Career Roadshow, aimed at transforming unemployed individuals into full-time business owners. This initiative, taking place at Central Hat Yai from April 3-6, 2026, will feature over 40 leading franchise brands eager to meet with potential investors and entrepreneurs.
According to Thai News Agency, the roadshow is designed to connect business networks from the central region to local areas, supporting Thai franchise entrepreneurs in expanding their reach. The event will showcase a variety of franchise brands across sectors such as food, beverage, service, and beauty, offering opportunities for aspiring business owners to engage in direct negotiations and explore franchise options that align with their interests. The initiative also includes promotional discounts and comprehensive funding options to make franchise investments more accessible.
Attendees will benefit from investment and franchise management consultations provided by leading financial institutions present at the event. These institutions will offer advice, financial support, and exclusive promotions, enhancing the appeal of franchise ownership. The roadshow is a key effort in stimulating the grassroots economy and strengthening regional economic systems by facilitating business ownership opportunities.
The Department of Business Development encourages those interested in franchise investments, as well as residents of Udon Thani province and surrounding areas, to participate in the event, which is open daily from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM with free admission. Currently, there are 4,149 franchise brands in total, including 686 Thai franchises, with 571 of these receiving development support from the department.
