Deputy Minister Encourages Local Teachers for Community Development

Nakhon ratchasima: Sending encouragement to "Local Teachers," hoping they will help develop their hometowns with the pride of their khaki uniforms. Mr. Akranan Kankittinant, Deputy Minister of Education, congratulated and encouraged teachers participating in the "Teachers for Local Communities" project via Zoom while visiting Nakhon Ratchasima Province with the Minister of Education. He provided guidance on how to conduct themselves so that they would be ready to return to their hometowns to develop education and strengthen their communities.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Akranan said he believes that everyone who chose to become a teacher has the inspiration for their work, and more importantly, the teachers in this program must have a true love for their hometown and a genuine willingness to dedicate themselves to their local communities. He wished everyone strong physical and mental health throughout their journey. "Many have decided to stay with this project for the long term, not just for six years. When facing obstacles, I want everyone to remember the first day they decided to join. Let the obstacles be just a stepping stone and a driving force in the fight for the children and for our education, because everyone is not just sacrificing themselves as teachers, but sacrificing themselves to care for and build strong communities."

The khaki uniforms that everyone will wear from now on are not just a matter of personal pride, but also an inspiration to youth and the community, and a source of pride for the Ministry of Education. Everyone is a vital cog in the machine that will drive the country to be strong. I urge you to remain steadfast in doing good, to perform your duties as local teachers, and to continue to succeed in your path as educators for the nation. On this occasion, the Deputy Minister of Education also reflected that "distance is not an obstacle" to educational work. Even while on fieldwork in the provinces, he still managed to video call via Zoom to talk, meet, and encourage teachers in the "Local Teacher Project," reflecting a commitment to supporting teachers in all areas.
