Bangkok: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport, Pipat Ratchakitprakarn, reassured the public about his well-being after stepping back from the media spotlight. This statement was made following a religious ceremony marking the 18th anniversary of the Bhumjaithai Party, where he was questioned by the press.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Pipat's absence from key meetings of the Center for Monitoring and Managing the Conflict in the Middle East (CMA) was due to mounting criticism over oil prices. His decision to resign as director of the CMA followed these events, prompting increased public curiosity and media scrutiny regarding his status and plans.
When approached by reporters about his current condition, Mr. Pipat simply stated, "I'm fine." Addressing the concerns and questions from the public, he added, "If the public is asking, please be patient." His comments suggest a call for understanding and calm amid the ongoing discussions about oil price management and his role in the government.
