Later, the police went to investigate the scene and found the disabled man, later identified as Mr. Wirut, aged 43, who admitted to the crime. From the initial investigation, it was discovered that Mr. Wirut was stressed and had no money to buy government lottery tickets to sell, so he released his stress by throwing rocks. It happened to be the moment the victim's car passed by, causing damage to the car. Then he was invited to Pathumwan Police Station. Both parties negotiated and reached a settlement, with the perpetrator agreeing to pay compensation for the damages. From questioning Mr. Wiradut, who looks like a vagrant, he claims to live behind Wat Anong, near Suan Uthayan Chaloem Phrakiat, Pak Khlong San District.
