Doctor summoned by police for alleged touching breasts of 11 factory workers

Sungneon district police in Nakhon Ratchasima province yesterday (November 22) summoned a hospital doctor for questioning after 11 female workers of Siam Fukoku Co accused him of touching their breasts.

The female workers, all attached to the factory's production section, lodged complaints with Sungneon police accusing the doctor of sexual abuse.

They all said the doctor touched their breasts while they went for physical checkup at the factory during the annual medical checkup provided by the factory.

One factory representative said she felt unusual practice by the doctor when he unzipped her dress and touched her breast.

She said under the checkup programme, there is no breast cancer among the checklist of 15 items provided by the factory.

She said when she asked her colleagues, they all said they were also touched by the doctor.

She said all workers touched by the doctor are good looking.

Police said they have summoned the doctor for questioning, and if he is found guilty, he could 10 years in jail and a fine of 20,000 baht, or face both.
