Chiang Mai: The North continues to experience cold weather. In the area of Kiew Mae Pan, Doi Inthanon, Chiang Mai Province, a phenomenon of white frost has persisted for the 10th consecutive day. The temperature at the top of the grass has dropped to -0.4 degrees Celsius.

According to Thai News Agency, at kilometer 42 at Kiew Mae Pan on Doi Inthanon, tourists are excited by the rare sight of frost. They have been eager to experience the cold and capture the frost in photographs as souvenirs. The weather remains cold, with a minimum temperature of 7 degrees Celsius, while the temperature at the grass tops has consistently been -0.4 degrees Celsius, resulting in 10 consecutive days of frost and marking the 24th occurrence of white frost this winter.

The Northern Meteorological Center has reported that a moderate cold air mass from China is still affecting the region. This weather pattern will continue to bring cold conditions to many provinces in the upper North, with minimum temperatures in plain areas ranging from 12 to 16 degrees Celsius.
