Bangkok: Domundi's agency has announced legal action against those spreading false information, causing harm to their artists.
According to Thai News Agency, Mundiwork Co., Ltd., the agency managing artists under the Domundi label, previously addressed the issue of false information on social media. This has included fake news, defamation, sarcasm, harassment, or inappropriate behavior, affecting artists such as Mr. Phruek Panich, Mr. Chawarin Peritpiriyawong, Mr. Theerathat Chungmaneerat, Mr. Kongphop Chirojmontri, Mr. Harit Buayoi, Mr. Napasorn Pingmuang, Mr. Matiman Sriboonruang, and Mr. Wannakorn Ruangrat.
The company recently provided an update, stating they are actively pursuing legal action and gathering evidence against the perpetrators. They have identified some individuals but face challenges due to fake accounts or those belonging to foreign nationals outside Thailand. Despite these difficulties, Domundi is committed to protecting its artists and is monitoring the situation closely.
The agency affirmed its commitment to ensuring the safety, rights, and mental well-being of all artists throughout the legal process. It is determined to hold the perpetrators accountable and will continue to oversee every step until the issue is resolved. Additionally, Domundi is considering suspending the rights of all artists to participate in company-organized activities as a further measure.
