Rayong: Dow Thailand Group (Dow), in collaboration with 25 partner agencies and more than 3,000 volunteers, recently organized the “Collect…Save…The World” initiative at a beach in Rayong Province, successfully collecting over 4,078 kilograms of trash. This effort is part of a larger initiative to tackle the growing marine waste crisis and promote sustainable waste management practices.
According to Thai News Agency, Dow is also supporting household waste sorting through the “Exchange Trash for Volunteer Shirts” campaign. This campaign encourages individuals to collect and recycle various plastic items, such as film bags, rice bags, water pack wraps, and water bottles. These items are then sent to the Circular Economy Innovation Center, Ban Chang MRF, for sorting and recycling, contributing to a circular economy approach.
