Dr. Mallika Unveils 14-Point Plan, Urges 2 Million Silent Voters to Transform Bangkok

Bangkok: Mallika calls for a call to arms for 2 million silent voices to join in transforming the city. Dr. Mallika, candidate number 14, led a caravan through the heart of Bangkok, showcasing 14 strategies ready for immediate action, and calling on the 2 million silent voters to come out and transform the city.

According to Thai News Agency, the atmosphere surrounding the Bangkok gubernatorial election campaign is lively, as Dr. Mallika Boonmeetrakul Mahasuk, candidate number 14, led a caravan of vehicles to meet with citizens along a route through the city center. Starting from Chatuchak, Saphan Khwai, Ratchathewi, and the Victory Monument, the procession moved along the BTS Skytrain line, passing through key business districts before ending in Silom and Sathorn. Along the route, numerous citizens, vendors, office workers, and public transport users welcomed the campaign and voiced the problems they want the new governor to urgently address.

Dr. Mallika stated that inner Bangkok still faces several significant problems, including chronic traffic congestion, high cost of living, economic slowdown, insufficient commercial space, recurring flooding in vulnerable areas, PM2.5 air pollution, safety concerns, and inequality in access to public services. 'Bangkok needs a leader who is ready to work from day one, not to start from scratch after the election. Therefore, we have that opportunity to ensure that the people of Bangkok-and let's not forget that we live together with ten million other people-can see the truth. Bangkok needs change, a decisive leader who isn't swallowed up by the system,' said Dr. Mallika.

Regarding solutions, Dr. Mallika confirmed that she will utilize 14 key strategies under the concept of Human Innovation, integrating AI technology with modern urban management. The focus will be on proactive problem-solving and achieving rapid results. These strategies include an AI-powered system to manage city-wide traffic in real-time, an AI Flood Radar system for early flood warning, revitalization of the grassroots economy, organized street food trading areas, enhanced city safety, tackling PM2.5 dust problems with technology, upgrading health centers, increasing public transportation options, promoting the night economy and tourism, combating corruption, promoting sports and youth activities, developing sustainable green cities, increasing economic opportunities, and transforming Bangkok into a metropolis of the future.

Dr. Mallika stated that the core of all 14 strategies is decisive, swift, and verifiable action, using data, technology, and collaboration with the public as the main mechanisms for driving urban development. At the end of her speech, Dr. Mallika appealed for votes from the public, inviting the more than 2 million eligible voters who have never voted in the Bangkok gubernatorial election to participate in shaping the city's future.

"Every vote matters. If the people want to see change, please come out and vote on election day and give number 14 the opportunity to serve the people of Bangkok. I believe that the silent majority of over 2 million votes will be a crucial force in shaping the future of Bangkok." It was emphasized that this election is not just about choosing a city administrator, but about deciding whether Bangkok will move towards a modern, transparent, safe future that creates opportunities for all citizens.
