Sa kaeo: The Eastern Command has announced the lifting of the curfew in four border districts of Sa Kaeo Province, which will be effective from December 30, 2025, onwards. This decision impacts the districts of Ta Phraya, Khok Sung, Aranyaprathet, and Khlong Hat.
According to Thai News Agency, the curfew was initially imposed on December 10, 2025, covering the same four districts from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM. The curfew was a response to threats to the lives and property of the people from outside the Kingdom.
The Eastern Command assessed that the situation in the area has now reached a level that can be controlled. This improvement has led to the decision to lift the curfew to alleviate hardships faced by the residents in their daily lives and to support the province's economy and tourism.
The revocation of the curfew aims to restore normalcy and promote economic activities, benefiting both residents and visitors to Sa Kaeo Province. With the curfew lifted, individuals in the affected districts are no longer prohibited from leaving their homes during the previously specified hours.
