Sisaket: The Election Commission has announced the schedule for the by-election to fill the vacant Member of Parliament position for Sisaket District 5. The application process for candidates will be held from July 14 to July 18, with the election set for August 10.

According to Thai News Agency, the Election Commission Office has released details following the Royal Decree on the Election of Members of the House of Representatives for Si Sa Ket Province, Constituency 5. This announcement is made to fill the vacancy left by Mr. Amorntep Sommai, a former MP from the Pheu Thai Party, who passed away due to a chronic illness on June 26, 2025.

The application dates have been set from Monday, July 14 to Friday, July 18, from 08.30 to 16.30 hrs. Interested candidates can submit their applications at the meeting room on the 2nd floor of Khun Han District Office, Si Sa Ket Province. The election will cover the House of Representatives for Sri Saket Province, Constituency 5, which includes Khun Han and Phusing Districts.
