According to Thai News Agency, the "Secretary-General of Parliament" revealed that they must wait for the Election Commission to certify 95-100% of the MPs before the Prime Minister can submit a request to His Majesty the King to convene the first parliamentary session to elect the Speaker and Deputy Speakers.
Mr. Siroj Paetpan, Secretary-General of the House of Representatives, stated in an interview regarding the convening of the first session of the House of Representatives that they must wait to see when the Election Commission (EC) will certify 95% or 100% of the Members of Parliament (MPs). Once the EC announces full certification, the Office of the Prime Minister will contact the Office of the Secretary-General of the House of Representatives to request the Prime Minister to submit a request to His Majesty the King to convene the first session of the House of Representatives to elect the Speaker and Deputy Speakers. However, they have not yet received any contact from the Office of the Prime Minister.
