Bangkok: The Election Commission of Thailand (ECT) has issued a statement dismissing claims circulating on social media about alleged ballot irregularities.

According to Thai News Agency, the ECT addressed a post that alleged discrepancies in ballot counts, stating, "Can someone please tell the ECT that these 66,000 ballots are just the net discrepancy (pink > green minus green > pink) at the national level? The actual discrepancy (green-pink) at the district level is 324,000++ ballots, and there is a discrepancy of 390 out of 400 districts."

The ECT has clarified that these statements are not based on facts. The official results for both constituency and party-list parliamentary elections are available on the ECT's official website (www.ect.go.th) as well as through the websites of the Election Commission offices across provinces and in Bangkok.
