Expressway Toll Waiver Announced for October 13

Bangkok:The Expressway Authority of Thailand (EXAT), part of the Ministry of Transport, has declared that tolls will be waived on three expressways on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, from 0001 to 2400. This initiative is in line with the government's policy to ease travel on King Bhumibol Adulyadej Memorial Day, a public holiday.

According to Thai News Agency, the toll exemption applies to the Chalerm Mahanakhon Expressway, Srirach Expressway, and Udon Ratchathaya Expressway. These expressways have 21, 32, and 10 toll booths respectively. The policy aims to facilitate smoother public travel and reduce congestion, in accordance with an amended concession agreement involving EXAT, Bangkok Expressway and Metro Public Company Limited (BEM), and Northern Bangkok Expressway Company Limited (NECL).

For travelers needing specific information on the toll-exempt booths, details are available on the EXAT website at www.exat.co.th. Additionally, the EXAT Call Center can be contacted at 1543 for 24-hour assistance.
