Bangkok: FBT opens an international athlete dormitory building at Kamol Sports Park to accommodate BMX athletes in the 2025 SEA Games and other sports.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Kamol and Mrs. Paweena Chokpaiboonkit, President and Vice President of Football Thai Sporting Goods Factory Co., Ltd. (FBT), held a merit-making ceremony to officially open the international athletes’ dormitory building at Kamol Sports Park on Suwinthawong Road, Nong Chok District, Bangkok. The building will provide accommodation for BMX athletes participating in the 2025 SEA Games and other sports, and will also serve as a training camp for the Thai national athletes preparing for the Asian Games and the Olympic Games. General Decha Hemkrasri, President of the Cycling Association of Thailand, and representatives from MCOT Public Company Limited also attended the event.
The BMX cycling competition will be held on December 12-13, with the Thai national team hoping for a gold medal in this category from Sergeant Major “Ae” Komet Sukprasert, the defending champion and three-time Asian champion.
